CommunityWise Forum

30 Nov 2012

Friday, November 30
Starhawk will give the morning keynote address as well as an evening workshop at the CommunityWise Forum in Calgary, Canada. The Annual CommunityWise Forum is a vehicle to deliver training and development specific to small non-profit and grass-roots organizations and equip us with the tools we need to be successful in our community, while fulfilling broader vision and values at the same time. The forum supports collaboration and relationships, providing opportunities to build skills, increasing community awareness of the Centre and of all our member organizations, building knowledge about co-location, engaging a diverse audience by reducing barriers to participation. This second annual forum will provide a space for conversation and skill-building around how we practice collective decision-making in our organizations and shared spaces. The day includes discussions and workshops with local organizers. Presented by the CommunityWise Resource Centre.
