Sunday workshop at PantheaCon:
“The Magic of Story”
Stories tell us who we are and who we can be. They can limit us or liberate us. The stories we tell are integrally part of the magic we weave, for they determine what images fill our minds, what possibilities we believe in, what forces we set in motion. Magic teaches us that to make a change, we must first envision it. In this workshop, we use meditation, trance, and ritual to identify our own underlying stories, personal and collective, and transform them into tales of liberation that can heal the world (and us, too).
Time: 3:30 p.m.
Location: Fir Room
Cost: included in day pass
Monday workshop at PantheaCon:
“Magical Activism”
What tools does magic offer to our work as activists for justice, peace and the environment? Magic teaches us to envision the outcome we want, not just protest what we don’t want, and to call on allies both spiritual and material to help us. Grounding, energy sensing, divination and trance can all be powerful tools of activism. In this workshop, we bring together our magical practice and our activist vision to become more powerful agents of change.
Time: 11:00 a.m.
Location: Pine Room
Cost: included in day pass
